AS Geordie Shore passes its tenth anniversary, we look back at what happened to original cast members such as Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison.

They were the poster-people for partying, famously having sex in the ‘house’ on MTV reality series Geordie Shore, which first aired at the end of May 2011.

While some happily admit bed-wetting after a drunken night out, some of the stars today have toned their wild persona, settled down and started a family, while others are still in the show or other reality series.

So what is the original cast doing now?

Charlotte-Letitia Crosby

The Northern Echo:

In April 2016, Charlotte nearly died from an ectopic pregnancy – her fallopian tube ruptured, necessitating emergency surgery.

Devastated and heartbroken by the experience, and what she claimed were the ‘cheating’ antics of her on/off boyfriend, Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle, her fellow Geordie Shore housemate, she dramatically quit the series.

Charlotte, who’s loved for her down-to-earth, bubbly personality and willingness to reveal every detail of her life – no matter how shocking - has been in a host of other shows since Geordie Shore.

She has been on Celeb Come Dine With Me, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Celebs Go Dating and currently presents Just Tattoo Us as well as her own show, The Charlotte Show.

Gaz Beadle

Gaz, a model, appears to have taken a step back from the limelight after announcing he was going to be a dad back in 2017.

He now has two children with fiancée Emma McVey, a son Chester and daughter Primrose, and often melts hearts with photos of them on Instagram.

Prior to becoming a dad, Gaz appeared on the reality show Ex on the Beach, Hells Kitchen Australia and performed with the male stripping troupe Dreamboys alongside fellow Geordie Shore star Scotty T.

Greg Lake

Whitley Bay man Greg left the show pretty quickly after struggling to fit in with the gym-obsessed lads.

He kept a relatively low profile after ditching the show, hitting headlines again when his relationship of eight years with Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe came to an end.

The pair have a son together, Daye, who can be seen in adorable selfies with his dad on Instagram.

Holly Hagan

It may have taken a while for cast members to warm up to her, but Holly quickly became a fan favourite.

One of the show's longest-serving cast members, the Thornaby-on-Tees woman had romances with James Tindale, Scott Timlin and Kyle Christie before leaving the show in 2016.

She and Kyle also appeared in Car Crash Couples.

Holly, who is an ambassador for anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label, has been with footballer Jacob Blyth since 2017 and the couple is set to tie the knot.

She can be spotted in bars around the North-East on her Instagram.

James Tindale

Although originally finding romance with Holly, James became known for his relationship out of the house.

He quit the show after ten series to focus on his relationship with Kate Thorne but returned in 2016, before leaving once more. He made another come back in 2019 and currently remains in the show.

He has his own gym, clothing line and is single.

Jay Gardner

Jay made it through three series in the house before leaving in 2012 to be with then-girlfriend Chloe. He returned in 2013 before leaving and making one final appearance in 2016.

The qualified quantitative survey is also a personal trainer and appears to be 'plant based'.

Sophie Kasaei

South Shields lass Sophie was on Geordie Shore from 2011 to 2013 before returning to the series from 2016 to 2019.

From 2011 to 2017, Sophie dated Joel Corry a producer and record label owner. She later appeared on Celebrity Ex on the Beach.

Close mates with Holly and Charlotte, the three can still be seen hanging out together.

Vicky Pattison

The Northern Echo:

Vicky has become a hugely popular presenter since first finding fame on Geordie Shore, but in 2018, her personal happiness was shattered.

She broke up with her fiancé, John Noble, which she bravely documented in Vicky Pattison: The Break Up, while also sharing her feelings with her 4 million Instagram fans in her characteristically upfront and honest way.

Now, she reveals, she has lots to celebrate. Her career’s flourishing: she’s a regular guest on Loose Women, and last year competed in Celebrity MasterChef and joined E4’s Celebrity Coach Trip. She has newly-found confidence, and has found love with former TOWIE star Ercan Ramadan.
