A 14 YEAR OLD boy reported missing in woodland near the River Leven was found by Cleveland Mountain Rescue volunteers after three search parties involved in a three hour operation.
The youngster had been reported missing between Kirklevington and Middleton -on-Leven near Yarm at 20.50 on Sunday evening. He was found near Foxton Bridge on the river Leven at around 10.30pm.
A Mountain Rescue spokesperson said: " It was a cool, damp night and as he had been missing for a few hours he was provided with one of the Team’s padded jackets. Other than being cold he was safe and well. After being checked over he was walked back, given a drink and passed into the care of the Police to get him home."
24 team members took part in the search.
