DARLINGTON Borough Council received plans for the erection of two three-bedroom bungalows with an access road and hard standing for car parking.

The site, which is adjacent to Kitcheners Point on Burtree Lane in Darlington, is currently being used as a paddock.

The development could see two detached two-storey bungalows with garages.

According to the Design and Access Statement, the site would be accessed from Burtree Lane via a new access road and two car parking spaces could be provided for each bungalow.

The surface of the entrance road could be tarmac and porous block paved surfaces could be used for the driveways.

The bungalows will have private landscaped gardens, existing shrubs, bushes, and trees around the site will remain, and additional tree planting is not considered to be necessary.

The application can still be viewed and commented on via the Darlington Borough Council website.
