THE much-loved Chuckle Brothers could soon be back on TV in an animated series, but producers want your help to make it happen.

Paul Chuckle has launched a Crowdfunder campaign to get fans involved in his new animated show called ChucklesWorld.

Brothers Paul and Barry found fame as comedy duo the Chuckle Brothers performing in BBC comedy show ChuckleVision, which ran for 21 series from 1987 to 2009.

Barry Chuckle, real name Barry Elliott, died in 2018.

Fans can experience the veteran entertainers once again in animation, which is being created by Paul.

The money raised in the Crowdfunder will be used to commission a special "first edition" ChucklesWorld animated pilot episode, with both new and original material for Chuckles fans.

The iconic Chuckle Brothers TV shows were watched by millions and there is still a huge army of fans.

Paul, 73, says he has a daily sack of letters and cards asking for autographs and if there is any chance "at all" of the Chuckle Brothers being seen again on TV.

“So here we are – ‘To Me - To You’ in a way,” he said.

“Everyone who takes part will get an exclusive chance to see the pilot edition before anyone else and anyone wishing to make a bigger contribution will get some very special and unique thank you goodies personally from me - that you simply can't get anywhere else.

"The Chuckle Brothers still have a huge following and I am amazed and delighted at the messages I get every single day, many of them asking if it might be possible for us to come back somehow.

“Well, now we can and everyone can play a part in that.

“If you want to be a part of it, that would be great and a special thanks – To Me….To You!”
