TODAY, Vue has announced the reopening of its venue in Darlington with tickets available to pre-book now.

From Monday, May 17, film fans can head back to the big screen as Vue Darlington reopens.

From well-loved classics to a selection of theatre, sport screenings and new releases, the cinema chain says there will be something for everyone from opening day.

Children and adults alike can look forward to the venue reopening, with Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, A Quiet Place Part II and The Father on the line-up.

Over the rest of the year, fans can look forward to a range of Hollywood blockbusters, with three years’ worth of new releases coming to the big screen within the next 18 months. This includes No Time to Die, Top Gun: Maverick, Minions: The Rise of Gru and Fast & Furious 9.

Football fans can also add dates to their diary as the Champions League and Europa League finals will be screening at select venues in partnership with BT Sport.

The long-awaited documentary on Alex Ferguson, in Sir Alex: Never Give In, will also soon be released.

The return of kids favourite Hey Duggee also means there are big screen events for everyone.
