A TEESSIDE shopping centre will see a high-tech virtual-reality gaming centre which will include the UK debut of a unique simulator game.
The Gaming Hideaway, in the Pavilion Shopping Centre, Thornaby-on-Tees, is due to open on May 17, subject to government guidelines, after agreeing to a five-year lease for the unit.
The deal was agreed with commercial property and investment company LCP, which manages the centre.
It's the first gaming venture for Kaiyn and Rachel Crooks, who have invested a six-figure sum in the concept.
Rachel said: "We're excited to be launching our business in the Pavilion Shopping Centre.
"We devised this concept pre-Covid"
