A PLAY centre with a difference has opened in Guisborough.
World of Imagination is the creation of Sarah Turner, mum-of-two, who realised there was a gap in the market for a play centre for children aged five and under that involved role play rather than traditional soft play.
She said: "I took my son to a role play centre and he absolutely loved it, but it was a long drive to get to. I was also on maternity leave at the time and thought it would be good time to set up on my own.
"The unit is behind B&M so is a good central location in Guisborough. If people don't drive then it's easy to walk to from the town, and buses come from lots of nearby towns.
"The centre has seven different role play sections, including a farm, construction site, vet's, and a shop. It is a small space so parents can keep their eyes on your child at all times. I don't really like play centres that are too big its difficult to keep track of where your child is."
World of Imagination is open seven days, and although walk-ins are welcome, booking is recommended.
