CHRISTMAS GREETINGS: Mount Vale Care Home, in Northallerton, celebrated the festive season with a visit from Father Christmas. The 64-bed care home, in Yafforth Road, Northallerton, opened last month in what was once the town's Mount maternity hospital. Father Christmas dropped in when the home held its first Christmas fete on Saturday afternoon, complete with stalls full of festive ideas.
