A REDCAR businesswoman has been listed in Forbes magazine's top 30 people under 30.

Chloe Clover, 28, who is the Core Founder of Wander a video marketing and production company made the list which includes the top entrepreneurs to watch across Europe.

She set up the company with her partner Lou Tonner after they returned to Teesside from Australia which they travelled around.

Ms Clover said: "We're a video production company - we create content for businesses to help them smash socials."

The business has been operating for just under three years.

Ms Clover said: "Myself and my business partner were both doing jobs in the industry we connected on that and realised we weren't happy, so we worked really hard to save up for a year. We bought a one-way ticket to Sydney and started creating content as a way to travel from place to place. We then realised we couldn't do this forever, so we went home and put everything in making the business happen.

Ms Clover did not go to university and, in fact, dropped out of school at 15-years-old.

She said: "I managed to get into art college to study fine art and photography but I also dropped out of that! The system didn't really work for me and that's why I advocate many different careers routes.

"I really wanted to do something creative, work with Lou and change the way businesses use video online. Those are the three main reasons for setting up the company. That's where Beat the Scroll came from, too... creating content that grabs peoples attention and beats that scroll on social media."

Wander has worked with companies such as Hampton by Hilton and Riot Games.

Lou, who is 30-years-old and would have made the list if she was younger, said: "It's exciting. I am blown away I am super proud of Chloe for making the list and I am so super proud of the Wander team, for everything they've done.

"It's overwhelming. Thank you so much to everyone that has supported us for the past two years."

Also on the list was Laura Cincera, 27, marketing manager for Google, Timothy Collins, 25 and Hugo Leprince, 22 cofounders of Creed Media and Gurjinder Dhaliwal, 27 senior growth manager of Tortoise Media.
