Man rescued after falling ill while out walking in North Yorkshire

A MAN was taken to hospital after becoming ill while out walking today.

Cleveland Mountain Rescue team were called to assist the man, who became ill while out walking near Ingleby incline, a few miles from Great Broughton.

The Yorkshire Ambulance Service contacted the team at about 12pm requiring its assistance.

The team, which had been called to an incident in Potto earlier in the day, was called out again and deployed to the scene.  

Upon arrival, the casualty was assessed by team members and shortly after was placed in the ambulance for onward transport to hospital.
