A POPULAR event space in Newcastle is set to be transformed into what organisers are calling the North-East's biggest beer garden this summer.
Central Park will take over Times Square, near the Life Science Centre, to become a huge beer garden, complete with greenery, from May to August.
The site will have the capacity for '100s' of people to enjoy summer in a social distanced manner, with full table service.
There will also be a 4k LED TV to watch all the summer’s sport on as you enjoy your craft beers, cocktails, bubbly and street food.
Bookings are currently available for dates in April and May, though some have already sold out.
Times Square is a popular spot for events, having previously hosted Oktoberfest and winter wonderlands.
