A MAN was injured after falling from his motorbike following an incident with a BMW.

The man was left with minor injuries following the incident, which happened in Middlesbrough on Monday.

Police say it happened at about 6.30pm on Marton Road, towards the roundabout with the junction at Clairville Road.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "The motorcyclist reportedly fell from his bike after a blue BMW approached him at speed, leaving him with minor injuries and damage to his bike.

"The BMW continued onto Clairville Road and did not stop at the scene.

"Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who may have private CCTV or dash cam footage which could assist the investigation is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 033062."
