TRAVELLERS may face up to half an hour of delays or cancellations this morning after a problem at Redcar train station.

A points failure at Redcar Central is disrupting trains at the station this morning, March 5.

National Rail says trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Disruption, which first occurred at 6.44am, is expected until 10.30am.

However, the train organisation says tickets can be used on Northern Trains between Redcar Central and Middlesbrough.
