A MAN has been charged in connection with a crash that left a six-year-old boy seriously injured.
The 24-year-old man has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and he will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today.
The charge was made in connection with a reported collision involving a white Mercedes Benz and two cyclists on Yarm Road in Eaglescliffe, near to Newsam Road, at 7.15am on Sunday, February 28.
A six-year-old boy was seriously injured as a result and currently remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting 031707.
