IT’S clearly a huge pressure for parents to be home schooling, especially for those parents who are also trying to do their job at the same time. Many parents have said they have felt they are letting their children down, or are inadequate as parents, particularly during the latest lockdown.
In today's Northern Echo we celebrate the efforts of all of our parents and have published more than 170 photographs of home school lessons and activities.
The photographs take a look at how children have been coping with the daily virtual classes.
Much good work is being done at home, and by teachers inside and outside of schools, to keep the up the lessons for thousands of children, and it is clear to see from the photographs that learning has been fun too.
