Man arrested after crash on A68 at Toft Hill
A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following a two-car crash on the A68 yesterday.
Police were alerted to the incident on the A68 at Toft Hill shortly before 11am on Sunday morning.
The crash involved a Nissan Juke and a Vauxhall Astra which were both recovered.
Officers were joined by colleagues from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
The driver of the Astra, a 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene after providing a positive breath test.
Enquiries are ongoing.
