THE latest Covid infection rates in every postcode area in the North-East and North Yorkshire has been revealed - as the majority continue to see a fall in new cases.
Most recent data shows the majority of postcodes in County Durham, Darlington, Teesside and North Yorkshire have recorded a decline in new cases.
The Public Health England data, which shows the picture in the week leading to February 6, compared figures with the week leading to January 30.

Out of 170 postcodes, 118 of them have seen the number of new cases either fall or remain the same, while 52 have seen a surge in case numbers.

Meanwhile, 13 out of 14 local authority areas across the region have all reported a fall in the number of new cases in the past week.
One area on Teesside saw cases increase as latest data also showed it now has the highest Covid infection rate in the region.

The figures come as the Government's roadmap out of national lockdown restrictions, which have been in place for the past five weeks, could be delayed.
On Friday morning it was reported that Number 10 had broadened the deadline for delivering plans to ease current restrictions.
