WITH more than 100,000 people living in and around the town, Darlington has so much to offer - but where is the best place to live?

From local attractions such as the Head of Steam Railway Museum to the town's well-groomed parks, the town continues to attract people from far and wide.

And only last month it was confirmed that Darlington had become the first town in the North-East to be awarded Purple Flag status.

The award, which is offered to towns and cities which offer safe and enjoyable nights out, was handed after the town was thoroughly assessed.

But today we're asking The Northern Echo's readers for their answer on where is the best place to live in the town and the reasons why.
