POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash involving a cyclist and a car in Hartlepool.
The incident happened around 6.15pm yesterday (Thursday, January 21) on Oxford Road near to the Spar shop.
An 18-year-old cyclist and a small red vehicle collided, causing him to fall from his bike and suffer what are believed to be minor injuries.
Officers would like to speak to the driver involved, or any witnesses who may have seen the collision or may have dash cam footage which could assist their investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Lee Benson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit, on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 010817.
