A MAN in North Yorkshire has died following an industrial incident.
North Yorkshire Police were called to a report of an industrial incident in Ripon at around 10.30am on Wednesday this week.
A man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are now ongoing jointly with North Yorkshire Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
A HSE spokesperson said: “HSE is aware of the incident. We are assisting North Yorkshire Police with their enquiries.
"We cannot comment further at this stage.”
