If the pandemic has given us any positives, it is that County Durham has an enourmous sense of community spirit. The 'Community/Voluntary Group Award', sponsored by Community Rail Bishop Line, recognised any community or voluntary group that had made a significant difference to their local community, during the most testing of times.
