SOME flights from Teesside International Airport have been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Eastern Airways has announced it will temporarily suspend services between London Heathrow due to Tier 4 restrictions.
In a statement the company said: "Following the extension to Tier 4 restrictions announced 30/12/20, flights between London Heathrow and Teesside International will be suspended between 11th January 2021 and 31st January 2021 inclusive. Passengers will be contacted by email today with an offer of a refund or rebook opportunity. If passengers have booked through a third party agent they should refer to their point of sale."
The Belfast City to Teesside International route has been terminated due to travel restrictions and reduced passenger demand.
The firm said: "Due to the ongoing travel restrictions and reduced passenger demand, the Belfast City to Teesside International route has been terminated from 11th January 2021. Passengers will be notified email today and should then refer to their point of sale for a refund."
