AN ONLINE retail group based in Richmond has raised £5,390 for Save The Children.

The money will go towards helping children and families who have been impacted by the global coronavirus pandemic.

YOLO, founded by Scott Woodhead, is a group which runs various online brands.

Mr Woodhead said: "We were so pleased to handover a cheque to Alison Iles from Save the Children, at our offices which feature grass carpets, hammocks and even a beer machine."

YOLO, which was born in 2014, has had a record year with sales reaching £2m.

This has meant they have had to double their team to keep up with demand.

They operate different online brands, including a tea subscription business and Europe’s biggest hammock retailer.

“We are so pleased to be helping Save The Children and want to thank our team, customers and suppliers for helping us raise the money which will make a huge difference to those impacted by the pandemic," said Mr Woodhead.
