Man found dead inside vehicle at bottom of cliffs
A man has been found dead inside a vehicle at the bottom of cliffs in Cowbar.
Police and the Coastguard attended an incident where a vehicle was found at the base of cliffs in Cowbar around 7.15am today (Wednesday).
Police said sadly, the driver, a local man, was found dead in the vehicle.
The man has not yet been formally identified, however, his family have been informed and police said their thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this time, and officers are continuing with their enquiries into the circumstances that led up to the vehicle being discovered at the base of the cliffs.
