A WARNING has been made after a quantity of prescription drugs was lost.

The drugs have gone missing in Middlebrough.

Cleveland Police issued a warning that they could be "extremely harmful".

Anyone who finds them is being urged to hand them in to police or a pharmacy immediately.

The drugs in question are 6 x 5mg of Diazepam, 12 x 225mg and 12 x 75mg of Pregabalin and a quantity of 50mg of Trazodone, which were collected from Rowlands Pharmacy on Borough Road on Thursday and have since been lost.

A police spokesperson said: "These controlled medications could be extremely harmful if taken by anyone they were not prescribed for.

"Please hand any found medication in, or contact police via the 101 number quoting 195582."
