A MAN who drunkenly damaged multiple cars is set to be sentenced.
Ryan Spearman went on the rampage in the early hours of November 15 and damaged several vehicles in Burnopfield.
The 26-year-old was arrested and charged with four counts of vehicle interference, two counts of criminal damage and being in possession of a controlled drug.
He pleaded guilty at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court, to all offences.
Spearman, of Waterloo Walk, Washington, is expected to be sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court on December 15.
Detective Inspector, Chris Woollett, said: “This behaviour was totally unacceptable and impacted a lot of residents who had their vehicles damaged by Spearman.
“I would like to thank everyone who came forward to report these crimes and reassure residents that Spearman will be dealt with.”
