Man and woman appear in court charged with robbery in Grange Villa
A man and a woman have appeared in court charged with robbery.
Debbie Traynor, 38, and John William McCormack, 37, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court yesterday following an incident in Grange Villa on November 14.
Ms Traynor, of Pine Street, Grange Villa, has been charged with one count of robbery and Mr McCormack, of Great North Road, Chester-le-Street, was charged with robbery, possessing a knife blade and obstructing a police constable.
No pleas were entered and both Ms Traynor and Mr McCormack were remanded into custody.
They are next expected to appear at Durham Crown Court on December 15.
