A MAN and a pregnant women were rescued from the shore after being cut off by the incoming tide.
The Redcar RNLI inshore lifeboat was called to rescue the pair after they were cut off by the tide.
The lifeboat was launched just before 2pm today.
The crew found the couple knee-deep in water, approximately 50 metres from the shoreline on West Scar rocks.
They were brought ashore in the lifeboat unharmed.
