Man charged after police raid uncovers cannabis plants in South Church house
A MAN has been charged after a number of cannabis plants were discovered yesterday.
Shortly after 1.30pm on Thursday, officers from Durham Constabulary attended an address in Rosemount Road at South Church, near Bishop Auckland.
A number of cannabis plants were found at the property and a man was arrested and taken into custody.
He has since been charged with the production of a Class B drug.
Aurelo Lamaj, 19, is due to appear before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court today.
