Last night, (Monday, September 14), police officers arrested a second man in connection with a dispute on Parliament Road in Middlesbrough (outside of Tesco) on Sunday (September 13) at around 6.40pm.

The man aged 26 remains in police custody.

The 25-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday in connection with the incident has been released with no further action.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses and people with private CCTV/dash cam footage from the time/area of the incident to please come forward as they may be able to assist with enquiries.

It is believed at the time of the incident, the street was busy with lots of people, including one man who was wearing a red and black tracksuit. Officers are appealing for this man and other witnesses to please come forward.
