A MAN needed hospital treatment for a head injury after he and another victim were attacked in the street in broad daylight.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the two men aged 40 and 33 were assaulted on the Linthorpe Road/Clive Road area of Middlesbrough.
It happened on Wednesday, September 9 at around 1.50pm.
One of the men sustained an injury to his head and he was treated in hospital and later released.
A man aged 28 was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
It is believed a small white van made off from the scene following the incident.
