A TEENAGER has appeared at court charged with a number of sex offences.
Reece Bennett of The Green, Chester-le-Street, faced magistrates at Newton Aycliffe yesterday for six charges of assaulting a girl under the age of 13.
The teenager also faced one charge of possessing 55 extreme pornographic images between December 2013 and February 2018 and one count of inciting a girl under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity.
Bennett, 18, denied all charges put to him and was granted unconditional bail.
He is due to appear at Durham Crown Court on Monday, October 5 at 10am.
