THE region's children have started to return to school this week - and The Northern Echo wants to see your pictures!
Schools in some parts of the North-East have started reopening, with many pupils returning for the first time since March.
As some reopened yesterday, early estimates said that around 40 per cent of England's schools welcomed pupils back on Monday.
But as more schools reopen, we will be featuring some of your back-to-school pictures on our website throughout the week.
