A FURTHER three people, who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,4561.

There was a total of five new deaths reported yesterday in all settings.

A total of 41,369 people have now died of the disease in all settings, including hospitals, care homes and the wider community.

Another 713 Covid-19 cases were logged, bringing the total number of people who have tested positive for the virus in Britain to 319,197.

Today marked the joint lowest daily rise recorded since lockdown began in March, and the lowest in 13 days.

There have been no further coronavirus patient deaths in hospitals in the North-East and North Yorkshire according to NHS England.

Latest figures published this afternoon confirm the region’s hospital death toll has stayed the same.

Scotland and Wales have recorded no new coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours.
