Tributes have been paid to Karen Stobie, who died at home on July 25, aged 55.
Karen was born in Darlington, on March 1, 1965.
She later attended Central School, where she excelled in art, which was to become one of her main hobbies. She loved to paint, draw and sew.
Her son Brian said: “She was a partner, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, and will be forever in our hearts.
“Her funeral on August 10 at Darlington Crematorium was amazing and we would like to thank everyone who attended, also for flowers and donations, which will be made to the Dog’s Trust in her name.”
