A MAN was critically injured after a car hit a brick wall.
A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a blue Subaru Impreza crashed.
It happened shortly before 10.30pm on August 7, near the Oval in Ryton.
The collision was on B6315 Woodside Lane, a short distance from the junction with B6317 Main Road in Ryton.
Investigating officers are now appealing to the public for any witnesses or those with information or footage to come forward.
Any witnesses, or those who can help, are urged to contact police via 101 or the online reporting form available on the Northumbria Police website using reference number 1462 07/08/20.
