A HEALTH trust’s pharmacy and medicines optimisation team has been shortlisted in four different categories in a national awards scheme.
The team at the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation are in the running for the HSJ Value Awards 2020 which recognise outstanding dedication to making improvements in the NHS.
They have beaten off competition from hundreds of entries to make the shortlist in categories including best respiratory care initiative and specialist service redesign.
Team director Dr Mojgan H Sani said staff are 'delighted' to make the shortlist, adding: "We are committed to delivering improved outcomes for patients and the wider organisation, and to be chosen among the other incredible nominees is a wonderful achievement.”
The awards ceremony will run virtually in September.
