Cleveland Police seized two quad bikes after it was reported they were stolen and causing a nuisance in Eston.
The quad bikes are pictured.
On Facebook Cleveland Police said: "Athough they look to be camouflaged in mud, that still didn't stop Eston Neighbourhood Police Team recovering these quad bikes from a house in Grangetown."
The team acted on residents concerns that the bikes were being used to cause nuisance in the local area.
Officers believe that the quads are stolen and a man has been arrested on suspicion of theft, and on suspicion of a Stockton burglary.
Anyone with information on the quad bikes should call PC Wayne Pursley from Greater Eston NPT on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
