Two men appeared today at Teesside Magistrates' Court after being charged with driving whilst under the influence of alcohol and dangerous driving.
Arunas Valacka, 43, of Berzu, Alytus, Lithuania and Andrei Vasilachi, 58, of Vladtepech, Chichiwav, Moldova were committed to crown court in custody.
This came after two HGV’s were stopped driving southbound on the northbound carriageway of the A19 near Hartlepool on Sunday between Norton Interchange and Seal Sands roundabout, near Wolviston.
