A MAN has admitted charges relating to drug supply almost three months after failing to appear at court to answer for the offences.
Kris Snowdon, 33, appeared at Durham Crown Court, sitting at Newcastle, having been arrested on a bench warrant issued after he failed to turn up for a scheduled case management hearing, at Durham, on February 28.
He admitted charges of possessing a quantity of cannabis with intent to supply and possessing criminal property, a Rolex watch and £7,000.
The drugs, cash and watch were recovered from an Audi Q7 car driven by Snowdon, on May 18, last year.
Snowdon was permitted not to plead to a bail act offence relating to his failure to appear at the February hearing, as he claimed he had a sick note of which his solicitor was made aware.
Due to a shortage of court time, Judge James Adkin adjourned and remanded the defendant, of Valley Drive, Swalwell, to remain in custody until sentence on June 9.
