A COLLECTION, believed to be Second World War memorabilia, has been recovered during a house search by police
Pocket watches, a ‘Rolls Royce’ branded razor, coins and stamps were all found by officers in South Moor, Stanley, earlier this month.
It is thought the items have been stolen and police are keen to reunite them with their owner.
A spokeswoman for Durham Constabulary said: “The lost property was found while conducting a house search at an address in South Moor a couple of weeks ago.
“We’ve had no reported thefts which list anything like the items.
“We’re at a loss with it really so we are just trying to get them back to their rightful owner.”
