A man has been charged with the murder of York man who died in 2007
A 44-year-old has been charged with murdering a York man whose body was found in a river in 2007.
John David Clarke, known as David, of Huntington Road, York, died aged 43 in April 2007.
His body was recovered from the River Foss near Towthorpe in April 2007.
David Roustoby, 44, of Rawcliffe Lane, York, has today been charged with his murder, said a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
