DARING fundraisers are being encouraged to 'get caked’ at a muddy obstacle challenge event in aid of charity.
The five mile 'Get Caked' challenge was due to take place at Edwardian manor, Sledmere House on April 25, but has since been postponed until March 13, 2021.
Participants will have to jump, climb and crawl over a series of different natural and man made obstacles - and can expect to get extremely wet and muddy.
Money raised will go towards Dove House Hospice in Hull, who organised the event, and Saint Catherine's hospice at home.
Ben Redfern, event fundraiser at Saint Catherine’s, said: “As the name suggests, you will get muddy. So be prepared for a fun, memorable day – and a great way to raise much-needed funds for patient care at Saint Catherine’s.”
Registration costs £25 and participants are asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £40 to take part.
