A CHARITY is helping those in the community who are struggling during Covid-19.
PACT House Stanley is a registered charity that runs a community internet café on Stanley Front Street.
Volunteers shop for food and deliver meals to those who need the most help, such as the elderly, those with financial challenges and people self-isolating due to Covid-19.
Continued support from Stanley Town Council, Aldi and Tesco means the team can deliver frozen meals each day to those in need.
The fresh foodbank is accessible by the rear entrance of Stanley Civic Hall, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, and the team deliver to those who require it.
Operating nearly seven days a week, volunteers provide vulnerable individuals with free meals and essentials, and make sure those who are isolated feel reassured and supported through difficult times.
To get involved by donating time, food, clothes or funds, message the PACT House Stanley Facebook page for further information.
To contact the team's crisis line, call 07720 650533, 10am to 4pm, or email pacthousestanley@outlook.com
