A GROUP of possibly armed people is thought to be behind two incidents in Teesside which saw doors and windows smashed.
The windows and doors of two properties were smashed in Thornaby and Stockton during the early hours of this morning.
The first incident occurred on Scarborough Road in Thornaby at 12.30am.
The second incident occurred on Burtonport Walk in Stockton town centre at 12.40am.
Police say it is believed a group of people possibly armed with weapons are responsible for both of the incidents.
A silver vehicle was sighted at the time and vicinity of both incidents and officers are appealing for anyone with information regarding the vehicle or the people responsible to contact police.
A Cleveland Police Spokesperson said: “Incidents of this nature are taken extremely seriously and officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace the people responsible.
