CASES heard at Teesside Magistrates’ Court this week.

JASON MICHAEL BEARCROFT, 34, of Eltisley Green, Middlesbrough, was found guilty of assaulting a police officer while he was at work, by beating him. He was fined £120, £50 compensation, and £32 victim surcharge. He was also ordered to pay £300 court costs.

KAILEY BOWE, 22, of Wembley Way, Stockton-on-Tees, admitted to harassment. She was fined £180, with a £32 victim surcharge and £50 court costs.

MARK CHRISTOPHER HOWARD, 27, of Fife Street, Middlesbrough, admitted breaking a non-molestation order by entering a property, imposed by the family court. He was fined £120, with a £32 victim surcharge and £50 victim surcharge.

BRADLEY BRIAN MORALEE, 30, Alderham Road, Guisborough, admitted to assaulting a woman by beating her. He was fined £450, £150 compensation, £45 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CHRISTOPHER WINSPEAR, 34, of Mildenhall Close, Hartlepool, admitted to harassment through messages and emails, including notes in the children’s notebooks calling her a “selfish piece of scum and a tramp.” He was fined £288, with £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

ANDREW BROADBENT, 55, of Thorntree Avenue, Middlesbrough, admitted to assaulting a woman by beating her. He was given a community order for alcohol dependency treatment, and order to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

JAIME CLARE LOUISE HORTON, 41, of Fordyce Road, Owtonmanor, Hartlepool, admitted to two counts of wilful assault, ill treatment, neglect, abandonment or exposure of the said child, in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to health. She was ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, with a £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

SHANE HOUGHTON, 23, of Greenock Road, Hartlepool, admitted to driving while under the influence of drugs, including cocaine, and without insurance. He was was ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to attend a drug rehabilitation course.

MICHAEL PHILIP HECKER, 44, of Devon Street, Hartlepool, admitted to trespassing on the lines of a railway company. He was fined £40, with a £32 victim surcharge and £40 court costs.

OLEKSIL LEKH, 38, of Athol Street, Middlesbrough, admitted to damaging a police cell belonging to Cleveland Police. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

FRED CHAPMAN, 28, of Suggitt Street, Hartlepool, admitted to having cannabis in his possession. He was fined £80, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

DAVID GARY GRIFFITHS, 48, of Ingleby Close, Middlesbrough, was found guilty of driving an off-road motorbike at Flatts Lane, Eston, without insurance, and allowing a seven-year-old child to drive it without insurance. He was fined £180, and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £600 court costs. He was also disqualified from driving for six months.

CONNOR METCALFE, 22, of Holmes Close, Thornaby, admitted to having class A drugs and a knuckle duster in his possession. He was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, and ordered to pay a £90 victim surcharge and and £85 court costs.

SARAH LOUISE MCDEVITT, 27, of Outram Street, Middlesbrough, admitted to using threatening words or behaviour and failing to turn up to court. She was fined £40, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

ALAN JOHN CHARLES BELL, 43, of Hartington Road, Stockton-on-Tees, admitted to three counts of theft. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks due to his record of offending. He was also ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.

RICKIE LEE SMITH, 33, of Haddon Street, Middlesbrough. admitted to having class A drugs in his possession. He was fined £80, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

MARTIN PETER CHAMBERS, 38, of Station Road, Redcar, admitted to theft a bottle of Prosecco from B&M in Redcar, having drugs in his possession, and for failing to attend court. He was fined £140, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CARL BRIAN BISHOP, 36, of Talbot Street, Middlesbrough, was found guilty of threatening two women that he would petrol bomb their house. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge from prison, and issued with restraining orders. He was also ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge and £250 court costs.

LOUISE LAS, 36, of Talbot Street, Middlesbrough, was found guilty of assaulting a woman by beating her. She was given a 12 month conditional discharge from prison and a restraining order. She was also ordered to pay £100 compensation and £100 court costs.

KASIM AHMED, 22, of Green Lane, Middlesbrough, admitted to drug driving. He was fined £150 with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JOHN PAUL FRASER-DAWSON, 40, of High Street, Willington, Crook, admitted to assaulting a woman by beating her, and breaching a court order while on suspended sentence. He was sent to prison for 18 weeks due to disregard for court orders, and a restraining order.

RYAN NEIL PARKER, 24, of Care Grove, Hartlepool, admitted to being drunk and disorderly. He was given a six month conditional discharge.
