THIS video shows just how high the River Tees has risen at Broken Scar on the edge of Darlington.
The popular beauty spot, would usually be busy with dog walkers on a Sunday afternoon, but the river has burst its banks, and has become a muddy torrent.
Nearby Hurworth Place has also flooded, although this is believed to be connected to the River Skerne, rather than the Tees.
