Four mile tailbacks after crash on A19
MOTORISTS experienced lengthy delays on the A19 on Tuesday morning following a crash.
One lane was blocked following the two vehicle crash on the southbound carriageway at the A179 Sheraton junction, near Hartlepool.
Four mile queues built up with congestion back to the Peterlee Roundabout and on the A179 back to Hart.
The accident has now been cleared and the road reopened.
