NORTH-EAST duo Ant and Dec have been snubbed by the British Comedy Awards.
The TV duo have not landed a nomination despite winning every year for the past four years.
Both the presenters - Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly - and the awards have been caught up in ITV's spate of phone vote scandals.
But while Ant and Dec continued to present their Saturday Night Takeaway show even as an investigation was uncovering a string of viewer deceptions, ITV has suspended coverage of this year's comedy awards, which are traditionally shown on ITV1 in December.
