A WELL-KNOWN North-East male voice choir will perform a selection of sings from its wide repertoire in Durham on Saturday (NOV 10).

The Felling Male Voice Choir, which is approaching its 90th year, has a growing membership of 80 singers and regularly appears in concerts round the region and beyond.

It caters for a wide span of musical tastes, singing everything from the 16th Century choral music of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina to modern popular sounds, also taking in folk and global music.

For Saturday's (NOV 10) concert, at St Oswald's Church, in Church Street, there is a mixed collection of classical, folk and other musical offerings, directed by David Conway, with accompaniment by Tracy Dixon and Philip Chapman.

The concert starts at 7pm, with admission 7, or 5 for the unwaged.
